My name is Vanessa Tortolano. I grew up in Hawaii and have been interested in herbalism and natural food for most of my life

How did you discover kombucha? 

While working as a cashier at a local foods co-op

What prompted you to start your company? 

Noticing how popular kombucha was becoming and there were no local producers as well as fascinated by the process and how kombucha improved my health

 What makes your product unique? 

All of our shelf flavors come from Rishi tea blends. Our kombucha has a lovely balance of sweet and tart with a more traditional kombucha flavor

What do you want to convey through your brand image? 

Women strength and independence

How to grow with integrity, sustainability, and efficiency

Problem-solving skills of my team, Quickbooks, Google, Whiteboards, lists, LightRoom

Always look for ways to make things more efficient. Talk to your team regularly
