A word to define what kind of worker you are:

My boss should be the one answering this question, but in my opinion, I’m an extremely hard worker.

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

I could not imagine my life without Photoshop, Wacom tablet, Illustrator and a simple paper and pencil to be able to sketch on-the-go.

What does your office space look like?

Our office is an open concept, but on my table, I try to make it fun and about me. I have my Kenny doll from SouthPark and the magic ball that helps make my desk a part of me and help me concentrate in the workplace.

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?

It depends on what I’m drawing, but during the work, I can listen to rock, jazz, blues, metal. If I’m drawing something emotional I am listening to blues or to a song that is emotional.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?

Every morning we have a group meeting to go over what we worked on the day before and what the plan-of-action is for the day, which really helps ground a user and for management to always know what we’re working on without interfering the process during the day.

What tips would you give to improve productivity?

Don’t give up and just keep trying. Even in my free time, I work on designs to help with my productivity in the future. If I have trouble with a drawing, I just simply keep on trying.

You’re better than your colleagues to:

I’m not because I have two colleagues in the art department who have been supportive and been teaching me extra tips along the way.

What is the best advice anyone has given you?

If you like something, just do it and it will all work out.

What is your best tip for saving time?

Just do everything in time. Always know what you are working on and what priority they each hold.

What is your routine start and end of the day?

I begin and end my day by listening to music as it helps me concentrate and calm down.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

My earphones and the Wacom tablet for drawing.
