In which city are you located?

I am located in Yerevan, Armenia

A word to define what kind of worker you are :

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

First of all, my Mac and my Wacom drawing pad. Then, beloved Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software.

These are totally my life essentials!

What does your office space look like?

Well, currently I do not work in any specific office space since I plan to create my own.

I used to rent a place in a co-working space with other freelancers, but now I am usually working from cozy and nice cafès, where the atmosphere is motivating. The environment is very important to me, so I also prefer outdoor cafes where you can enjoy nice weather as well.

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?

Usually, I prefer something calm, like jazz or blues. This kind of music really helps me get involved in the work I do. In contrary, when I do some technical job, (like exporting my artwork to png-s :D) I prefer listening to something active, like hip-hop and rap.

What is your routine start and end of the day?

Personally, I believe, that a good start of the morning makes the whole day successful, so I start my day with a nice breakfast and watch my favorite shows or something motivating. For inspiration, I like to scroll Instagram, where I follow really talented illustrators and designers.

Then, I organize my tasks with the help of Wunderlist desktop app. During the work, I love to have some small breaks, during which I gather inspiration in such websites as Dribbble and Behance. As I already mentioned earlier, the environment is very important for me, so I try to choose places where there are people with whom I can communicate and get distracted from work. Lastly, I really get motivated when I have something planned at the end of the working day. |
