What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Adobe Illustrator is my whole world. My Wacom tablet has become increasingly invaluable lately.
What does your office space look like?
It is a modest room in my house, divided in half: one side is my workspace and the other is my partner’s. On my desk, I have a large dinosaur.
What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?
I love many kinds of music so I listen to one large and highly curated playlist on iTunes constantly. But lately, something I put on to be inspired or motivated is ‘The Legend Of Zelda 25th Anniversary Soundtrack’ classical symphonies.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?
I work hard in the morning and make the most of those early hours of focus because I know I can get a bit distracted in the afternoon!
What tips would you give to improve productivity?
When you feel inspired to be creative you shouldn’t ignore it! I often have interesting ideas in the evening and I work on them late even though it hurts a bit the next morning. Who knows when you will feel that way again!
You’re better than your colleagues to :
I work by myself, but when I previously worked in a studio environment I believe I was good at thinking creatively and breathing unique personality into a design.
What is the best advice anyone has given you?
My mother and father are dedicated, hard-working people and while they have given me lots of good advice over the years, it is just the example they set which speaks a lot to me.
What is your best tip for saving time?
Do things right away because it will all pile up eventually (it is very difficult keeping to this rule!)
What is your routine start and end of the day?
Often a walk in the park with my partner and some breakfast at home to begin. At the end of the day I am usually playing video games or watching TV but sometimes I read.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
My PlayStation 4! It’s a constant source of entertainment and relaxation.
