Beau’s Oktoberfest: ten years of beer, music & fun!

Published by Leonardo Calcagno

The microbrewery located in Vankleek Hill, Ontario no longer needs a presentation. For several years now, Beau’s has stood out in the brewing market thanks to its beers that are both creative and tasty. Anxious to celebrate and create a unique event around beer, the company decided to start a festival, which, for a weekend every year, is inspired by the great German holidays.

” Beau’s Oktoberfest started in 2009 to announce our Oktoberfest beer, Marzen. Nine years later, it has become a giant celebration bringing the community together with charity, good food, beer, and fun!” says Communications Director Jennifer Beauchesne.

Over the years, the event has grown and developed, thanks in particular to the participation of many bands and the presence of several other microbreweries invited for the occasion. In addition, each year, Beau’s partners with community organizations to collect donations. ” We’ve always included donations to charity and community as part of our business model as a brewery, and Oktoberfest gives us a chance to” jump the needle “significantly with a fundraising event. funds “says Beauchesne.

Beau’s Oktoberfest offers several activities for the whole family: a grand opening parade, competitions, and fun races, beer brunch and fair games. Not to mention the two scenes in which we can attend various shows and concerts. In this regard, Ms. Beauchesne states: ” We are celebrating our 10th edition by bringing back two of our most popular base music groups from previous years: Joel Plaskett and Sloan. There will also be a bilingual comedy show on Friday night with comedians Neev and Julien Dionne.
