Where to park in Downtown Montreal? We have you covered

Published by Programme B

Downtown Montreal is packed to the brim with attractions and events galore. From the sounds of the Montreal Symphony to the casual atmosphere of Le Balcon, here’s how you can make sure that parking is not an issue as you prepare to enjoy your morning, afternoon or night out.

Places des Arts offers indoor parking, which is accessible from St. Urbain. Places des Arts provides both daily and monthly payment rates, as well as contactless payment.

Theatre du Nouveau Monde doesn’t have any parking in front, but there is parking in the rear along Rue Clark and Rue Saint Urbain, not to mention the option of parking in a garage at Indigo along Saint-Catherine St. West.

If music is what you are looking for, then you can attend the Orchestre Symphonique. Once again, Rue St. Urbain will be your street of choice for parking. In fact, the Symphonique shares indoor parking with Places des Arts. If you do not prefer to park there, you can land at Complexe Desjardins, which can be found at 1252 rue Jeanne-Mance. Keep in mind that there may be traffic delays on the way to the Orchestre.

As you peruse downtown Montreal, you’ll notice that Rue St-Urbain is a very popular and accessible street along which to park. The Opera de Montreal is no different, as its parking northwest and northeast of the opera. The parking available is handicap accessible, as well as underground and it provides a charging station for electric cars.

Le Balcon offers not only a show, but brunch and dinner options. They are home to jazz, gospel and soul music, among other genres. Parking to experience the shows at Le Balcon will be located west of Le Balcon at Rue Aylmer Parking and behind the building at Stationnement Crescent. Both are located along City Councillors St.

L’Astral, which houses various art shows and exhibits, will have parking options, but the closest will be at Target Park, which is open for 24 hours and located along Rue St-Catherine. Target Park offers monthly permits for convenience as you traverse the downtown area.

Cinema Imperial, which is home to a concert hall, has very convenient parking nearby at Stationnement Imperial, which is right next to Gosselin Photo. Cinema Imperial not only hosts concerts, but they play movies and offer options for renting rooms as well.

The Schulich School of Music, which is located at McGill University, hosts shows and provides an education for music and arts students as well. Parking for this institution will be located on the campus. If you prefer a lot, you can go to Loto Quebec #872, located east of the university. Indigo parking is an alternative if you can’t find any room at McGill.

Agora De La Danse located near Places des Arts shares the same parking options. It is located near Imperial parking and the indoor parking of Places des Arts, too.

L’Atrium de la Maison provides rental spaces for various events, including ice skating. Parking Place du Canada is the closest available, right along Rue St-Antoine O. Nearby parking also includes Parking du 1000 de la Gauchetière. You can also take the Megabus to save time.

As you can see, there are various activities, events and attractions located in downtown Montreal. When you are planning your stay, make sure to see which shows are the best fit for you. When you want to make it a night to remember, make sure to check for parking.
