Can you tell us about your background and your business?
I have lived in Canada for almost 10 years and as a new Canadian, I have always felt that the market lacked natural products with more unique flavors. So we decided to create and develop new options, using nutritional ingredients that are not yet well known here. BemBom focuses on 100% natural products.
How has your business and industry reacted to covid-19?
BemBom was actually founded during the pandemic in early 2021, as an initiative to provide new options for eating better and healthier.
How has your business and industry changed due to the pandemic? Do you have new opportunities? And a new way of doing business?
The WFH has opened up more opportunities as people have had more time to pursue healthier lifestyles and consume products that make them feel better.
What can we expect from your company at SIAL?
We bring to SIAL completely unique and completely natural products, without preservatives or added sugar. They are made with as little as one or two ingredients, some of which are still little known, such as baru nuts, goji berries, maca, and tapioca.
