What are the different ways to consume CBD oil?

Published by Programme B

With the benefits of CBD being more widely discovered, it’s important that the public knows that the questionably tasting oil they drop in their mouth isn’t the only way to consume CBD. So, here are some common alternatives that are commonly found on websites on Bestcbdonline.ca, and are some particularly enjoyable ways of getting CBD into your system.

Oil droplets

Oil droplets, or tincture as per its official name, is the simplest way to consume CBD. This is the default method, and whilst perhaps slightly boring, it’s a way to consume CBD with little effort or dilution. Putting the oil under your tongue is the fastest way for it to reach your bloodstream, in which you hold it there for a minute before swallowing.

Gummies
CBD can be baked into almost anything. Confectionary is a popular way to incorporate CBD into sweet-tasting goodies, and gummies, in particular, has become a standard. Chewing on a gummy each morning is a great way to build a fun routine around consuming your CBD, and it can be quite easy to take them wherever you go in a bag. Otherwise, you can buy CBD cookies and brownies, but these will go off sooner, so you’ll need to buy batches of these more frequently. If you come across a CBD cafe though, a fresh CBD brownie may be a perfect choice.

Cream or balm

CBD creams can do two jobs in one. Not only are you consuming CBD (albeit smaller amounts), but the oils are fantastic for your skin. CBD is an anti-inflammatory that can help reduce eczema and other forms of inflammation. It is known to help with swelling, pain, redness, and irritation from skin conditions. It can also act locally by soothing muscle and joint pain.

Plus, they come in great fragrances, so they’re ideal for a lip balm, as well as being mixed with beeswax or coconut oil, keeping our lips soft and hydrated during winter. Somebody, who needs this, you may want to inform them about this.

Capsule

CBD can come in capsule form, which is one of the easiest ways to consume the substance. Whilst it may not have the added-on pleasantries and decadence of a lip balm and gummy bear, it’s a fast, effective, and no-nonsense way to consume. This is good for people who only care about getting it in their system with no frills, and would like to take the capsules to different places – there’s less likely going to be a stick mess compared to a CBD oil spilling in your bag or a cream leaking.

Vape pen

Vaping is very common still, so many of us own a vape pen. For those that do not already vape, vaping CBD may seem futile. But, for those of us that do vape, this can go hand-in-hand with the habit and is an incredibly quick way for the CBD to enter your bloodstream as it goes directly into the lungs. Just be aware that the long-term safety of vaping CBD is still yet unknown.

In Coffee

Finally, the industry of coffee enthusiasts is ever growing with the likes of James Hoffmann and specialist coffee culture. If you already have a coffee every morning, then adding CBD can be an easy way to add to this habit. Plus, CBD may be able to prevent the jitters that coffee can sometimes give us. Getting the energy of a coffee but without the jitters sounds too good to be true, but it’s worth trying the blend with CBD to see for yourself.
